Free · WordPress → Astro 7 · zero code
Your WordPress.
Impossibly fast.
Paste a URL and watch your site reborn as a pixel-identical Astro 7 frontend — in your own GitHub, Docker-ready for xCloud. Same design. Same content. None of the weight.
Sign in with GitHub · ~10 minutes · no credit card · fully reversible
How it works
Three steps. That's the whole migration.
- 1
Sign in with GitHub
The conversion runs in your own GitHub Actions — GitHub is all you need.
- 2
Paste your WordPress URL
No credentials, no plugin, no setup. The mirror engine reads your public site.
- 3
Deploy on xCloud
Your new repo has a Dockerfile at the root. Connect it and ship.
The magic
Any WordPress site.
Converted like magic.
We never touch your WordPress. The mirror engine reads your site the way a browser does — a real Chromium render — and rebuilds every page as static files. Same theme, same fonts, same layout, pixel-identical.
- No theme edits, no settings, nothing to install
- Every image, stylesheet, and font self-hosted automatically
- Fidelity audit against your live site on every run
- WordPress keeps running — reversible any day
$ speed.press convert https://your-site.com
✓ Repository created — your-github/speedpress-your-site
⚡ Mirroring with a real Chromium render…
captured 84/84 pages · pixel-identical
localized 312 assets — images, CSS, fonts, all self-hosted
✓ Fidelity audit vs live site — coverage 100%
✓ Dockerfile ready at repo root
→ Deploy on xCloud. Total: one URL pasted, zero code.
▋
Why it's insanely fast
Same visitor. Two very different journeys.
Nothing computes
Zero PHP, zero database work at request time. Pages are already built.
Every asset, one origin
Images, CSS, fonts self-hosted with immutable cache-forever headers.
No cache roulette
Static files are the cache. Nothing to warm, nothing to purge.
Live in 1–5 seconds
Publish an edit — the bridge plugin patches exactly the affected pages.
No lock-in, by design
You own every byte of it.
Your GitHub, your code
The Astro project lives in a repo we create in your account. The conversion runs in your Actions. We keep no copy, no database, no backend.
Docker-ready for xCloud
A Dockerfile at the repo root — nginx serving your static site plus a tiny updater. Connect the repo in xCloud and every push redeploys.
AI & SEO ready
One click writes llms.txt and an AI-friendlyrobots.txt, scored by AIScan — so agents and crawlers read your site as fast as humans do.
WordPress stays your CMS
Keep writing in the editor you know. The bridge plugin streams your edits to the static site — and going back is just pointing DNS back.
Two ways to be fast
Not ready to leave WordPress?
We built for that too.
Speed.Press and xSpeed are sister projects from the same makers. Pick the path that fits — both end in a blazing-fast site.
Staying on WordPress
xSpeed
Your site, blazing fast — in milliseconds.
- AI-powered caching & performance plugin
- Cache hits served before WordPress even loads
- Zero migration — install, activate, done
Going beyond WordPress
Speed.Press
Leave the PHP behind. Keep everything else.
- Pixel-identical conversion to Astro 7 static
- Your own GitHub repo, your own Docker image
- Free — deploy on xCloud in minutes
FAQ
Fair questions, straight answers.
Is it really free?
Yes. The conversion runs inside your own GitHub Actions and the result lives in your own repo, so there is no conversion infrastructure for us to charge for. Hosting the deployed site on xCloud is billed by xCloud like any other site.
Do you store my content?
No — the conversion runs in your own GitHub Actions and Speed.Press keeps no database. Everything happens in your browser and your GitHub account.
Do I need a plugin?
Only for live updates. Conversion itself needs no WordPress credentials. The bridge plugin adds signed webhooks so content edits reach your deployed site in 1–5 seconds.
Will it break my WordPress site?
No. Conversion is read-only — nothing is installed and nothing changes on your WordPress to convert. It keeps running as your CMS, exactly as before.
How fast will it actually be?
We won't invent a number for you. Structurally: zero PHP and zero database work at request time, one nginx serving pre-built files, immutable asset caching. Run your favorite speed test before and after — that's the comparison that matters.
What about WooCommerce?
Not yet. Pages, posts, and custom post types work today.
Ready to leave the loading behind?
Keep the design. Keep the content. Own the code.
